Of course, Israel faces obstacles in achieving victory. The country is hemmed in generally by international expectations (from the United Nations Security Council, for example) and specifically by the policies of its main ally, the U.S. government. Therefore, if Jerusalem is to win, that starts with a change in policy in the United States and in other Western countries. Those governments should urge Israel to seek victory by convincing the Palestinians that they have lost. निश्चित रूप से इजरायल को विजय प्राप्त करने में अनेक बाधाओं का सामना करना पडेगा। देश अनेक अंतरराष्ट्रीय अपेक्षाओं ( संयुक्त राष्ट्र संघ सुरक्षा परिषद ) और अपने प्रमुख सहयोगी अमेरिका की नीतियों से घिरा है । लेकिन फिर भी यदि जेरूसलम को विजयी होना है तो इसके लिये अमेरिका तथा अन्य पश्चिमी देशों की नीतियों में कुछ परिवर्तन होना होगा। इन सरकारों को इजरायल के आग्रह करना चाहिये कि वे फिलीस्तीनियों को यह समझाकर विजय प्राप्त करें कि फिलीस्तीनी पराजित हो चुके हैं।
